Meet Sergio Saenz
Born and raised in McAllen, Texas, Sergio Saenz is a musician, United States Air Force veteran, and dedicated advocate for healing through music and sacred ceremony. Sergio’s journey of service began with his Air Force career, where he developed the discipline, resilience, and leadership that continue to inform his work in the world.
In 2019, seeking deeper healing from his own experiences and inspired to support others on similar paths, Sergio began working with Ayahuasca, a traditional Amazonian plant medicine known for its powerful potential to address trauma and foster personal transformation. This pivotal experience led him to a formal apprenticeship in 2020 under Taita Pedro Davila, where he deepened his understanding of ceremonial practice and the ethical stewardship of sacred plant medicines.
Recognizing the importance of integration in the healing process, Sergio became a certified psychedelic integration coach through Psychedelic School, studying under renowned integration pioneer Shiri Godasi. In this role, he supports individuals in making meaning from their psychedelic experiences and applying insights to everyday life, drawing from both indigenous wisdom and modern therapeutic approaches.
As a co-founder of Ágape Church for Soul, Mind & Body, Sergio weaves together music, ceremony, and community to create spaces for authentic connection, healing, and spiritual growth. His work is rooted in the belief that music and sacred plants are universal medicines—tools for faith, unity, and transformation.
Through performances, workshops, and integration coaching, Sergio Saenz invites others to explore the intersection of music, spirituality, and holistic well-being, embodying a vision of service, creativity, and conscious community.
