Frequently asked questions.
Retreat FAQ
Where are Agape retreats held?
Agape Church retreats are now hosted at carefully selected retreat centers, private properties, and sacred gathering spaces. Each location is chosen for safety, privacy, rest, and suitability for prayer-based ceremony.
Exact location details are shared with approved members after registration.
Do I need to be a member to attend?
Yes. All retreats and ceremonies are reserved for approved members of Agape Church. Membership helps us protect the integrity of the sacraments, understand who is entering ceremony, and ensure each person agrees to our Code of Ethics & Conduct.
What is included in a retreat?
Most 2-night retreats include sacramental prayer ceremonies, live medicine music, integration circles, nourishing meals, shared lodging, and community support. Specific inclusions may vary by retreat offering and location.
Are meals provided?
Yes. Scheduled meals are provided during retreats. Participants are asked to share dietary restrictions or allergies during registration so we can plan with care.
What should I bring?
A preparation list is provided after registration. In general, plan for a simple weekend stay with comfortable clothing, personal toiletries, any approved medications or medical devices, and items requested in your retreat preparation email.
Are retreats medical or therapeutic services?
No. Agape Church is a spiritual community offering prayer-based retreats and sacramental ceremonies. We do not operate as a medical facility, psychiatric facility, or clinical treatment center. Participants are screened for safety, and anyone with medical or medication concerns should contact us before registering.
How much does a retreat cost?
Each retreat listing includes the recommended donation, deposit requirement, and balance due date. Donations support the cost of holding retreats, hosted locations, meals, preparation, integration, and the ongoing work of the church. We do not charge for our sacraments.
Are scholarships available?
Limited scholarship support may be available through Agape programs and partner foundations for qualifying members, including veterans, first responders, and women in need. Availability depends on community donations and current fund levels.
Can I attend if I am new to plant medicine?
Yes, if your membership is approved and the retreat is a good fit. New members are guided through the registration and preparation process with care.
